I'm totally new to the hobby and watched several YouTube videos prior to making this purchase and was pleased to find several beginner tools that make your learning experience easier included in the kit. The quilling coach was one of these tools in the kit and it is very useful for getting flat and even curling. The kit also has plenty of colorful precut strips to get you started, and a template with cork board and pins to hold your pieces in place while the glue dries. It comes with a fine tip glue bottle but no glue. That's fine for me because I also do pressed flower art and have my own glue and sharpened chopsticks for application.Be aware, there are no instructions included in the kit, but there a plenty of online resources to help you with that. Be aware that each strip has two sides: a rough side and smooth side. The smooth side faces out and the rough side is away from you. Keep the very sturdy cardboard box that the kit is shipped in because it makes a handy storage case.
