Spitfire: An American WWII Fighter Pilot in the RAF

Such a joy to read. What a brave and devoted guy to stay with the RAF while he could have switched to the US Air Force for much more money. There was no bragging in the story and it was both interesting and educational about flying the spitfire and learning some of the British terminology. I owned and flew a Canadian Harvard Mark 4 for many years in civilian life and enjoyed reading about his experiences in that old bird. Great story!
