Q: Can this be attached to a standard drill?

This has a threaded 5/8" arbor for a hand grinder. You will need a large 3/4" drill and an 5/8 arbor. I wouldn't recommend it.

Q: do they make these to fit the 7 inch dewalt angle grinder?

Yes. When the 4 inch was too small for my project I purchased a 7 inch grinder, grinding wheel, and shroud through amazon. The 7 equipment is a significantly larger investment than the 4 1/2. 7 inch equipment: Grinder - DWE4557, floor grinding wheel - DW4775, and shroud DWE46170.

Q: Will this grinding wheel grind down a high spot pushed up by roots on my driveway? I have a raised section about 3/4” high causing a tripping hazard.

We recommend our 4-1/2" double row diamond cup grinding wheel for dry grinding of concrete and other masonry materials.
