Overall this case is very nice. It fits very well with the phone and snaps together perfectly. The only issue I forsee is there are two different types of material covering the speakers at the bottom of the case. One is plastic and clear and looks like it would be water proof but the other one is a paper material and doesn't look like it would hold up against water. I love the fact that it is clear because I just recently purchased the red iPhone 7 plus and I really love the color. For the price it is great I just wish that both speakers were covered with the plastic.

Just got the case today, so I haven't water tested it with the phone yet, just a paper towel. So far, it's like Fort Knox! I had to buy black...they need more colors. But it's a PITA to open, so hopefully that's a good thing. I submerged the case with a paper towel inside, in a pan for about 30 minutes. No water inside! Make sure everything is closed up tight. The mute button on the side is a dial. Turn right to take it off vibrate, left to mute it. There's a serious lack of instructions in the package, though. But always read reviews and questions, because that's where I found the answers, lol.

This case is good and definitely protects the phone. The only real weakness is at the bottom of the phone. The small little flap that open and closes at the bottom of the phone where the charger cable goes is poorly constructed. It broke off within the first week. I didn't see any point of getting another case for I would have for seen the same thing happening again. This is an important part of the phone because it protects it from all the elements, water, sand, etc. Would I buy this product again? No, but it did keep my phone safe until I was ready to try a new product.

I bought this so I didn't need to worry about my phone around my pool. It is waterproof but like another review said "also sound proof". If you use speaker phone the other party cannot hear you. Plus if you are on the phone any tap on the case (like if you switch hands) echos to the other party. I started noticing that my phone was warming up as well in the case. The issues are more of a bother than having my phone waterproof. Bought it July 6 and it's only August 9... I wish I could return turn it but its too late for me. If you do decide to purchase this try everything out within the first week. You will see about the sound quality. The pros may out weight the cons for you but it doesn't for me...

I purchased this before a trip to Indonesia and had the rubber over the lightning port not torn off would haven protected my phone well. I’m still giving it 3 stars as I felt somewhat more confident with it in my phone while chasing waterfalls than I would have had I not had this. Just wish the rubber was a little more durable.

Easy to put together. Has a cover /protector for the camera lenses, a feature not many cases always have. Another feature I liked is the ability to put a string on the lower corner (you can be a left/right handed, it doesn't matter) to make it a wringlet especially for people who have smaller hands or for added security. I haven't tried the product under water but it rained where I went and took photos without the phone having issues.

I liked the case for protection. It fit well, was large but not bad considering and the touchscreen worked perfectly. I got it so I could take my phone snorkeling, and it would last about 20-30min before getting water in it and needing to be taken off (yes it passed the tissue test), this wasn’t much of a problem as I have the 7plus so it’s water resistant but I can imagine it being a very big problem for others. I would recommend it as a heavy duty case that’s water resistant but not a water proof case.

The case has weathered accidental drops and my work around swimming pools the past two years. The only drawback is the rubber stop where the phone charges— after opening it twice, the pull tore off. I have to pry it open with a fingernail, but it still covers the connector.
