The light is beautiful and a great price. The hardware was a little tricky to maneuver, but we were able to figure it out. The wooden cover plate that I received is not the same one as shown in the picture. My screws to attach it to the bracket go into the side of the cover plate (horizontally) as opposed to the picture which shows the screws going into the cover plate vertically. I actually like the design I received better as it hides the screws.

I just could not wait to write this review and get a big fat chuckle over the photo showed in the sales photos here with the one over the bed is blown SO out of proportion as to be about half as big as the bed! I found that so funny, no comments on how out of scale that pic is - ridiculous, someone should fix that. OF COURSE this charming bamboo pendant fixture is not half the size of your queen size bed! Haha, bought a pair for over my kitchen island. White marble countertops, black cabinets with brass hardware. I knew I needed some texture to add some warmth and these are great, dirt cheap but don't look it once they're up! I'll add a pic later once they're up.

My wife ordered these and had me make a new switch circuit up to the ceiling for pendant lights next to the bed. We ended up painting the top plate black and threaded the wire through a black curtain tension rod which worked out perfectly and only cost a few dollars. Wiring was no problem but the hardware they provide is terrible. I ended up getting two 2” screws to go straight into the junction box and that worked well. They only provide a small bracket that does not have the correct hole alignment to fit in a standard ceiling box, but their instructions say to just screw it to the ceiling which I believe is against most building codes. So if you can figure out your mounting situation then I’d recommend these lights. They are really nice quality and look great in our room.

These are lightweight and collapsible. Very well constructed.

I thought the lighting looks amazing once you get it hung up but the issue mainly is the instructions plus bad hardware. I had to reuse old mounting brackets since the ones provided didnt actually work for the junction box which also meant reusing the old hardware so practically everything in the box with the exception of the actual lighting assembly should just be thrown away.

The light looks just as pictured, it’s beautiful! However, it took my husband many hours and a run to the local hardware store to get this light up. It was not compatible with the standard American lighting box. He had to figure out a way to install it with all new parts. Now that it’s up, we’re happy! There was a lot of frustration getting it up there though.
