Barsony Concealment IWB Holster for S&W M&P Shield with Laser

I'm always skeptical with holsters because half of them just suck and also because of the way I carry concealed (IWB appendix crossdraw). It's very hard to find a decent holster so luckily when I purchased a laser for my S&W M&P Shield, an ad popped up for this as an accompaniment to the pistol with the laser. There's nothing fancy about this holster... It's a basic soft open holster (no strap) with a seemingly strong and capable clip. But it fits perfectly with my Pistol /laser combo and that's the challenge with other ones. The material itself gives a little glide for drawing my pistol. No hangups at all. Very impressed with it and have no complaints.

This holster has a HUGE oversight - the bottom of the belt clip bends outward, and catches on a shirt or sweatshirt when lifting up to draw firearm. This happens on almost every draw when carrying on right back of hip. Clip should have been designed to lay flat against the outside of the pants, like Alien Gear holsters, as an example.Despite this flaw which will prevent me from ever wearing this out of the house, I love it for in-home carry with my shirt tucked behind it. Small, low profile, and comfortable and since it's IWB it doesn't catch on stuff around the house. Fits the Shield 9mm with a Lasermax attachment as advertised. It is snug when actually IWB with the firearm (obviously a fabric holster feels loose when it's not being worn). No signs of wear on the firearm after a few weeks of unholstering practice.

Its comfortable, secure fit for my weapon and easy draw. As with all things with weapons, practice consistently with how you draw your weapon from your new holster, acquiring positive ID of your target befor firing your weapon. Re-holstering it requires you to use your other hand but that does not bother me since the only time Ire-holster my weapon is when my targets are down and the area is secured.

The holster doesn't hold the gun. There is no retention system. I would personally get something with a retention system and have it loose. I do not want to be in the situation where I am fighting for my life.

This is the second one. The first one finallygot a bit ragged, thread worn. I just wanted a new firm one.They are comfortable with the shield. It draws out smoothly.The only thing that could be better would be a semi rigid holster.For the money, it is really good.It is flexible comfortable.If you carry that is a good thing.

It looks and feels good at first after waiting near 3 wks for delivery. Any case in 2 weeks of concealed carry I expected it to expand a bit but not to where the gun is not sturdy any more. This no good for S&W Shield 9mm and what i bought it for. If you use for daily carry it may interfere with your withdraw the gun in emergency situations. I gave it 2 starts because of that only otherwise the material feel great if it did not expand quickly. The take away, I could have gotten a bad batch of manufacturing or could be okay for other style guns. Thx.

I was reading the reviews, people were saying that you don't even realize that your carrying your gun. I told my self that's a lot of bulls***. Guess what it's true. My waist is 32 slim in jeans, I forget that I'm wearing my gun that is how comfortable this holster is. I like this way better than my more expensive leather one I purchased .

I have to say I am amazed by this holster. It fits the M&P 9mm with factory laser sights to a T. No danger of the gun slipping out or anything. I am able to carry just about anywhere even wearing swim trunks and a tshirt.
