Is there any instructions for this, cause I didn't get any and we haven't been able to figure out how to fix the straps and belt rope thing.

There were no instructions with mine either. Put the straps around the legs to secure it. The belt thing goes through the loops then adjust it to fit. Mine had enough that I tie it in front so I can just drop one side to get inside if need be. I hope this helps

Do you need a canopy for this cover to work?

I really don't know for sure if it would work without the canopy but I do know it would be really big fitting with out it.

Will it fit my swing that measures 71 h, 77.5 w, and 45.5 d also do you have to have a canopy on swing to use this

I used the measurements listed in the description to make sure it would fit. I actually bought it to cover an outdoor playhouse and it fits perfectly. It’s a nice product for the price.
