How do I open to put the batteries in?

We gave the light sabers to our grandkids after we installed the batteries, so we do t have them here to look at. However, we’ll try to recall - It’s kind of tricky, but if you look at the photo in the descriptive area for these on Amazon, it might be easier to find the almost hidden area for batteries. Sorry this was not more helpful!
