Works well for shotgun
This works well on a Mossberg Maverick.

Sleeve works well with two flaws
While the sleeve hold shotgun shells well, two small design changes would make it better. First, the sleeve is not tapered to fit butt stocks tightly so it kind of hangs there and doesn't grasp the stock evenly. Second, I had to cut a small hole in the sleeve so the shotgun sling could attach to the shotgun's sling eyelet. The manufacturer should account for shotguns with slings and have pre-drilled a hole in the sleeve.

Fits loose around my shotgun. If you have a thinner butt I wouldn't buy it.

Sturdy and a fair price.
It fits tight, a bit of a bother to get on but once it is on it isn't gonna give you any problems. It isn't gonna be moving around or coming off. Appears to be very well made. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Other use
My son shoots trap and his gun was pulling his cheek against his braces. We bought this to try because he didn’t want a pad that would change his placement. Worked like a charm! No more bleeding mouth.

Wasted Money, too large, and poorly designed "tube"
This shell holder is a straight tube. Most sleeves like this that I have bought previously are at least shaped to follow the contours of your stock so they fit tight. I slid this onto a Maverick 88 and it didn't even come close to fitting anywhere on the stock. The shotgun was literally "swimming" in it. I don't know what others received that I did not, but we had to have gotten a different product.
