I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA Coach. So I am always wearing fight/exercise apparel. I usually buy spats to train in and theybrange for $25-$60. I decided to give these a try and was really skeptical because of the price. I've gotten lower priced spats before and they are exactly what you pay for. As for these Elite spats, they are way better than the more expensive ones. I'm kinda mad at myself for never trying these out. I train in them at least 8 hours a day. The fit is perfect and they are restricting in any way. The quality is way up there. For this price, I expected average to poor quality. But these feel like they'll last forever. I definitely recommend these and I will be buying more.

First off, these are nice and light work out pants. But things i noticed that did not work for me.1- They ARE see through. If anyone tells you they are not, you are being lied to. They are most certainly see though at the "stretched" part of the pants. Its not a fault of the product, its simply that they are very thin and light ( which is great to exercise in) But trust me, you will need some sort of cover up especially if you will be bending over and rolling etc.2- Because of the ratio of the material, they arent as stretchy as other types of products. So if your looking something super stretchy, these are less stretchy than a product with a different ratio of fabric.3- i have smaller calves then normal, yet, these were tight on my calves for the size i picked. Im 5 8, 175. I picked SMALL. they fit my thighs and waist perfect ( very snug) but were tighter on my calves then i thought they would be on me. So if you are muscular in the calve area, that may be an issue.

These spats have a silver logo on the right cuff which means they cannot be worn in competition, the photos are presented in such a way as to hide this logo which is misleading. Item does not match photos.

I think I did two separate orders, one was grey and one was black, so I'll say essentially the same thing I put in my other review: these have great functionality. I used them for bjj and karate workouts and they keep my legs warm and ready to perform. I have taken them to the streets for biking, running, jogging, and to the weights for some iron pumping fun. These perform better than other spats I ordered (maybe I needed another set first to get the hang of it)-the first spats I ordered (not from this company) fit me, but when I move in them, they don't stick around on the waist. I bought these hoping for a better fit and I got it-it gives a feel of snugness without being too tight-if I went a size smaller I'd get more compression; the leg length is good, it goes nearly to my ankles. They stay in place for warmups, rolls, sparring, and katas. I'm very pleased-didn't expect to like these as much as I do.
