Sharp and slicey. Greyish metal looks good with wood scales. A very good quality knife, good looking, a bit more dignified or 'office-y' looking knife than the utilitarian or aggressive looking styles that are more common. If you prefer a medium/large knife, but work in a more 'civilized' setting where your coworkers might fearfully notice a larger knife, this one's benign appearance may assuage those unjustified reactions when you cut your apple or open a box. Sencut is part of the CIVIVI brand, and the quality shows. Smooth opening and closing action, easy to use the flipper tab to open it. The blade cutout works with a thumb flip.

They've distilled knife design language down until it's perfect. The opening hole is placed and sized just right. Very comfortable handle, and the micarta feels great- smooth but still grippy.Came sharp, with an excellent, crisp detent.They call it some sort of "green", but it just looks grey and black. That's fine w me. Good looking knife.I snagged it while on sale, really glad I did.

Far from an internet “Knife Expert” but in the past year I have purchased several under $50 knives. The Sencut (which I purchased for less than $30) is by far the BEST. Excellent fit and finish, sharp sharp out of the package. Smooth opening. Securely locking open. Pleasing ergonomics. Plus it came in a nice small case. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This was my favorite knife right out of the box. I have a couple other Sencut knives and love them. This one is so nice in the hand and flips out so smooth.My only complaint, and this goes out to all knife makers, (my personal experience with Sencut and Kizer). The blade develops a side-to-side wobble after opening and closing a few hundred times. I have plenty of other knives that never develop this. Maybe they could use thread locker when assembling. Of course I could easily fix this if they didn’t use micro star bit screws. Not the end of the world, but a little annoying having to order a set of micro star wrenches specifically for the sole purpose of keeping my knives from falling apart. Use some regular type screws for God’s sake. Do your customers a solid.Lol.I still carry a different model Sencut every day. Overall love their knives.

Good stuff

I was totally surprised how well made, sharp, great looking, great working knife by Sencut is. I even wrote the company complimenting them on one helluva knife. I like it so much I bought myself another one and sending my friends this knife for Christmas.

Well made. Good fit and finish. Great price. Slicey. No thumb studs. I don’t like thumb studs. Opening hole and flipper tab work much better and don’t get in the way of your cuts. Good deal.
