They are soft and have a velvety look to them, the earloops are very comfortable, although I clip them in the back for a really tight fit against my cheeks as that is the key to a well fitting mask. I like the trifold design as it fits snugly under my chin and I dont have to keep adjusting it when I am speaking. I just got the ones with the adjustable ear loops which I thought would be good because working all day with a clip in the back puts a little pressure on the top of my ears. The ear loops are great and provide the snug to the cheek feeling that I prefer, but out of habit, I just feel safer using a clip in the back. With the Delta variant being so infectious, I am back to wearing these everywhere I go.
