There's not a lot of slop or play in the jaws. Adjustment is smooth. The handle is comfortable and seems adequate but not super strong. It should do the job, but I don't think it would stand up to extreme abuse.The locking pliers actually seem nice.The grips are comfortable for as long as they'll last.The pliers themselves feel very close to the quality of the name brand.The square nose (linesman) pliers look and feel very nice.Everything lines up and fits together perfectly and operates smoothly.The grips are comfortable.I haven't tried it yet, but the cutter looks perfect & I feel confident that it'll work as it should.The groove joint pliers were the main reason I chose this set over the others in it's price range.I wanted 10" pliers because that size is much more useful around the house than the smaller sized ones.I like the grips on the handles.The jaws seem like they'll fit and work well with most common plumbing and automotive fittings.Actually, as someone who's worked as a home improvement professional for 45 years, a good set of groove joint pliers can be the most useful tool in your box.These guys are a little bit wonky when it comes to adjusting the jaws.Some positions operate nice and smoothly while others don't line up well without a little bit of effort & bind up a little until they slip into place.I'm not totally fond of the pivot point that connects the two sections.
