They're comfortable, transition seamlessly between riding and walking and have a very clean/stylish sneaker look and feel. My Shimano SPD cleats are neatly tucked into the bottom of the shoe and you never feel it when walking. To my surprise, they also VERY easily snapped into the pedals the first time I tried them! As far as size, I usually where a US men's 11 and they don't sell that half size but the 45 EU which translates to a 11.5 in US fit like a glove. They're a little narrow so an actual 11 would've probably been too tight.
