Content is very good but quality of the paper is terrible
Wonderful read. It provides picture of how 'feminism' shaped and reshaping over the time. However, the paperback edition of pelican publication is very poor. Pelican should consider changing the paper quality abd ealise that books ment toremain for a longer duration. Otherwise, those who don't want physical copies of books have several options to get a soft copy.

Inspiring, accessible read
Given the subject matter, it would be laughable for me to indulge in “mansplaining” about the merits of this book. So I’ll restrict my comments to strongly recommending Delap’s work for its comprehensive sweep, clarity and the fresh perspective it brings to the disparate histories of movements for gender justice. I’d hope the readership isn’t confined to university circles. This is a very accessible read from a highly respected academic which should find its way onto the shelves of both school and public libraries.
