Can i apply a rubber to this racket ?

Probably, but it wouldn't be a worthwhile endeavor. You can get cheap rackets with rubber surfaces. The clear advantage and reason to get this racket is the hard sandpaper-like surface, which gives good ball control and velocity. Everyone who uses one of mine prefers it over my rubber-faces rackets. I had to buy 4 of them to make sure I had enough, then more for friends who wanted them for their own.

I ordered a few of these. I wanted sand paper paddles so I wasn't too picky about color. As far as warranty I don't remember but they have served my family well so far. The side label sticker falls off but that part doesn't matter.
