The tumbler is well made, easy to handle, and DOES NOT LEAK. The tumbler has provided hours of fun for our Grandchildren as they watch the progression of the gemstones from angular pieces to those with rounded edges and eventually polished. Our Granddaughter has made several rings from the finished stones and loves to tell all about the process. She has learned about erosion and the effects of water and friction upon the stones. The machine does make some noise from the tumbling process, they all do, and I build a small wooden box (10" x 11" x 8") with a cutout in the back for the AC adaptor and it dramatically reduced the noise to a whisper. Leaks from the lid a little bit where it screws on, but not enough to matter. Overall, it's a good product.

Burnt out on day 3 of tumble was also turned off at night so hate to think if it was going continously on the 3 day tumble. Very disappointing but it was cheap. Would be better to invest in in the more expensive ones I feel. Would be a disappointing gift if feel due to it having day 3 button, however it just stopped working on day 3.

It worked perfectly the first time, after that there was some issues with the barrel not making proper contact with the roller motor, one or two wraps of electrical tape fixed the problem.

Sent message at Christmas that there was no polishing powder included, my son's anxiously waiting to use the tumbler
