Winning in weight loss with great-tasting diet plan!
I watched Dawn Jackson Blatner compete with this diet plan - the Superfood Swap - on the ABC show My Diet is Better Than Yours. Her win as the food expert advisor for Jasmin - who not only lost the most weight and inches, she also gained a new, fun lifestyle for eating and increasing her health - inspired me deeply to ignite my own health focus. This book could not come out soon enough! The eating guidelines in here are simple and easy to follow. The book also feels personable - like Dawn is personally guiding me through her process that she took Jasmin through and that she has perfected in over 15 years in her industry. I love that Dawn includes science, as not all talking heads in the food arena have true nutrition expertise like she does. I feel like I can trust Dawn. Also, knowing that her food and health expertise guided the Chicago Cubs to win the World Series in 2017 - well I know she knows what she's talking about! Her idea for this diet plan is really brilliant. The Superfood Swap allows us to eat what we want - like burgers, tacos, pizza, and pasta - but modified to be truly healthy. Most important, though, I'll be honest, the recipes are off the charts tasty, and so there doesn't feel like a compromise at all in eating well!

Superbook, love the recipes and approach.
This book is full of recipes that are healthy, easy to make and don't leave you feeling deprived. I also subscribe to her newsletter and she has very simple but totally effective ways to get back to good health. I like the gradual, holistic approach she takes to weight loss because quick fixes never work. Over the four week period its about incorporating healthier foods and habits in and unhealthy ones out. The book focuses on building positivity and nourishment/balancing vice and virtue. It is a shame other reviewers have given poor ratings due to an Amazon Kindle error. Dawn was such a positive person on the TV Show My Diet is Better Than Yours, her client won and if you read this book you will see why. There are a wide variety of recipe types for any meal or occasion.

Awesome book and recipes!
Yes! Finally a great book that explains how to eat healthier without losing the taste. I absolutely love the recipes that show where, what and how to swap out certain foods/ingredients. Super easy to follow and the swaps are easy to integrate on a daily basis, and I can find the food suggestions at my local grocery store. I have so many favorite dishes from this book already which is no surprise as I am a fan of her previous book The Flexitarian Diet. Dawn keeps it simple and she keeps it real which is why even on a crazy work schedule I can still make delicious recipes for my family. This book is our go-to and a staple in our kitchen.

Great book! Need packaging to protect corners
Content: Of all the self help books there is, nothing embodies a lifestyle change in such a fun practical way as this book. DJ emphasizes replacing habits with better, higher quality food substitutions and offers a fresh perspective on exercise and healthy living with her vice virtue combinations.Truly a fan.As far as Amazon package delivery is concerned, my book came pretty banged up in the corners. Kinda subpar for my expectations of Amazon.

Great premise touting portion control and swaps for foods you ...
I had high expectations but there's way too many vegetarian recipes in this book. I eat meat so most of the meatless lunch/dinner recipes do not appeal to me. Great premise touting portion control and swaps for foods you love...but her ratio is off. I believe more protein is needed and less carbs for improved, long-term weight loss.

Best no nonsense book on eating and living well I have ever purchased. The first 2 pages alone can be life changing if we are open to a simple, easy to follow new way of looking at how we care for our bodies. Dawn is such a rockstar in my world because she makes everything so doable. I first came to know her on My Diet is better than your Diet where her plan was by far the most simple and doable and I was thrilled when it bear out all the others! I've been waiting for the book for months and it has exceeded my every expectation! I can't wait to try every EASY recipe! Your ideas are making a difference, Dawn--keep them coming!
