I had a problem with my Freestyle Libre 2 sensors popping off two times in one month from getting caught on things like a car door. I decided to find a patch to go over them. I really like that this has a shield to put under the patch that helps keep the sensor from popping off. If you bump the sensor the shield help to make it just skim over the top of the patch rather than catching and popping off. No problems with it coming off in the shower. Excellent product.

Only used these covers for a couple of days, however, here's some early info:Bit tricky to get on without kinking the edges. I had my husband help me, it took three stickers to get it on without creased edges. It seems you must use the sensor cover included and if you do and follow the directions, it's fine, just don't rush it. I haven't been able to place the sensors on back of my upper arm as they'd always end up falling off or being 'flicked' off by inadvertently rubbing your arm against something. Hoping these covers will take care of that. I'll update as time passes. Overall, and hoping, they'll be great.Update: been using these for 2 months now. The first try was a bit difficult as the bandaid type cover had kinks in it. However, if you place the bandaid down on flat surface and remove all three strips, place the plastic cover in the centre, it's easy to get a perfect adherence. It may seem that the hard plastic cover would be uncomfortable but you won't feel it, even when lying on it sleeping. Try these, they make a huge difference - no more sensors popping off.

El protector de plástico ayuda muchísimo a que el adhesivo no se pegue en el sensor y sea más fácil de quitar el sticker. Lo compraría de nuevo sin problemas.

I’ve had these for about a month now.The elastoplast-like material sticks very well. I apply some Skin-prep to my arm under and around where the Libre 2 sensor goes - this ensures both the sensor and the patch stick for the full 2 weeks of sensor life. I swim an hour 3x per week, run and bike - sweating. So far I’m impressed with both the protection and the lasting stickiness. I am not using the plastic sensor protector-cover so the patch sticks to the top of the sensor as well. I’m sure this would work well if you were in an environment where you might bang it on something. Would definitely recommend.
