Great little lamp, the lamps are smaller than my old LED flood lamp bulbs but are much brighter. The light color is super white with a slight hint of blue. Easy to install the one center screw holds the unit on to the cross strap mount. It even comes with a rubber plug to seal the screw head, extra screws and twist connector caps. This is a on/off by switch only. No motion detection. Great value for the money.

So far so good. Easy install - less than 30 min, base is smaller than the one I removed so I have some paint touch up to do. Adjustability and features are useful. Much nicer than the plastic one I replaced. Been buying Lithonia Lighting stuff for a while. Pleased with the price/quality.

Bought and installed 3 of these, HGX LED 2RH 40K 120 MO WH M2, to replace old Lithonia’s that lasted 8 year- well past 5 yr warranty. The day photo sensor makes power available to the unit at dusk till dawn - perfect, don’t need security lights during daytime. The motion sensor works great; I just set them to MAX sensitivity to illuminate as soon as possible when walking up. (I think the only time you need any other adjustment is if light comes on too much; only then cut back sensitivity.) Light ON time has two choices: 1 min or 5 mins. - we like 5 mins ON time. The sensing zones fits with the illumination zone. The brightness 2700 lumens is better than older model so I’m happy. Color temp is set to 4000 K with this model; which is just right for us. (Soft white is 3000K; daylight is 5000K.) Original review 14Aug22, adding this info 29Aug22, this model is still: HGX LED 2RH 40K 120 MO WH M2, as stated above. When you pick a “style” you get very different models. This model has Lumens of brightness output fixed at 2750 Lumens (see 2nd bullet item under: “About This Item”), and color temp fixed at 4000 K (Kelvin). I included daylight and soft white approx color temps just for reference, this model is not adjustable for Lumens of brightness or color temp. For security lights that sense motion dust to dawn, and come on for a limited time, I find this highly desirable for the reduced failure points by getting rid of adjustable dials, and reducing unnecessary cost. We are very pleased with this security flood light model and purchased a 4th so our house is covered from all directions.

The fixture is very small compared to traditional 2 head halogen or LED security floods, which I liked. BUT... the "accent" light, is on dusk to dawn. That light space at the bottom of the mount plate isn't just a motion sensor, it's a 4000K light that stays on from dusk-dawn. You can't override it, and you cant set the CCT (color temperature) to anything but 4000K. It's on all night, then the 2 heads kick on when there is motion. Those 2 heads you can set brightness (not much difference) or CCT to 3000K, 4000K or 5000K. The "accent" light on all night was a deal breaker for me...I don't want 4000K dots on my clients house all night, screwing up the rest of the lighting design. Fine on a barn. Not on a $1M home, and not acceptable for dark sky areas.

I bought these to replace 20+ year old floodlight fixtures. Overall I am very pleased with these floodlights and would highly recommend. They are very bright and depending on which model is purchased, the brightness can be adjusted. Installation was literally easy peasy and took less than 10 minutes on average. Now the longevity test begins as of 12/24/25.

Installed 3 of these lighting systems around my home, they provide excellent lighting and were simple to install to existing wall outlet wiring.

Soffit mounted and it was extremely to setup. The aiming of each of the heads can be adjusted with just two fingers so very quickly It holds the placement after aiming well too. There phot control is one of the most sensitve I've come across and it quickly turns on or off with daylight as designed. Very good D2D security light from a reputable company and I highly recommend this as it is an excellent value.
