COMPLETELY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
The filter is placed ( attached with screws) in an oblique position, not under the hole where the coffee falls and the coffee was falling outside. Unable to work. Definitely unprofessionally manufactured.

BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
I purchased one, it broke. I returned it and reordered, the next one broke. The is absolutely no support from Smeg, and if you bought it from here then there is no warranty since this is not an authorized Smeg dealer. The coffee tasted fine, but insanely overpriced and is an absolute piece of garbage. You’re better off flushing your money down the toilet.

Didn’t work. Water everywhere.
Well. Set this up per instructions. Excited for my first cup with awesome beans. First cup….nothing. Hmmm. Second cup, nothing and then we saw the water all over the countertop. No even coffee…just water. needless to say, sending it back. Don’t need a $900 pretty water leak on my counter….already ruined my books that were next to it.

The machine exceeded all of my expectations. The people having issues probably don't maintain it properly.If can't afford to maintain a Ferrari you probably shouldn't buy one.

Stopped working after 5 days

Bad Product- Do not waste your product
This product wasn't thoroughly tested. The first thing you will notice is if don't have enough water for the coffee it will not warn you it will stop during the coffee making process and it will stop. After the first descaling the product will stop working. The coffee machine looks good and it will work fine until the descaling, its a roll of the dice if the product will work after the descaling. I have already received a new unit after it failed and this one also failed after descaling. In less then a year the first one broke and the second one broke as well. We barely made 2 cappuccinos a day. Please do not purchase this product.
