Wonderful to refinish a teak table
I did so much research, read every description and every review of all the products in this category. Settled on this one and very glad I paid the extra money. It went on my teak table I am refinishing smoothly and easily, no streaks and beautiful color of the wood when I was done. Highly recommend using one of the foam core terry sponges for the application.

Goes a long way.
Great for teak or redwood since it is not a stain. Brings out wood grain and color. Seems water resistant so far. 1/2 gallon covered 4 chairs and a rable twice. Be sure to do any repairs or filling before treatment.

Yes it is worth the money if you want a great Teak Sealer!
Wow, what a Sealer!!! Living in the AZ desert can be brutal on pool furniture, especially on teak wood. I gambled on this Total Boat Danish Teak Wood sealer, mostly due to the cost and glad I did. I spent two days prepping, sanding, and repairing a table and four chairs before applying this sealer. I was pleased on how easy it went on and the results have been amazing! A few months in the summer sun have not dulled the finish and they still look great. I was very pleased when the sealer arrived and found a few complimentary items; easy instructions, latex gloves, and a quart mixing container all included. Great product and my Teak furniture looks awesome! Well worth the money and I will be buying more from them in the future!

Excellent result, but tricky to control spills.
I've only managed to put on one coat so far, but it has kept the teak looking good and water still beads on it after a few weeks. It is very watery and that can make it hard to apply to wood mounted in place (which is the case in my application on teak coamings and toerails) without it dripping and splashing around. I used a foam brush but will probably try a rag or bristle brush next time. The foam brush tended to squeeze out too much product when pushed too hard as it acts like a sponge. I had to work very carefully and be ready to wipe up spills with a dry rag. In summary, it seems to work well protecting the wood, but can be challenging to apply without spilling onto neighboring surfaces. The two photos show before and after applying the sealer. The light wood is the result of using the Total Boat two part teak cleaner, and the darker is after applying the sealer.

Great poduct. Easy to use
I used this on quarter sawn white oak chairs. It is really easy to apply and wipe off leaving a nice color and feel to the wood. I used a quart can to work from. I used a plastic pour spout afixed to the gallon can of teak sealer to pour product into the quart can. That spout is less than a dollar at your local paint department. I used a 2 inch polyester paint brush to apply and tee shirt material to wipe down afterwards. I lightly sand the surface with maroon scotch pad before apply the second coat. The surface feels smooth and the color of the wood is great. I just received my second gallon so yes I like the product.

Restored our teak table back to new!
We used this to restore our teak furniture and it was perfect! Looks new again! Had a 140” table and 8 chairs. Used one-half gallon. Used the small foam brushes to apply. Dried evenly. Definitely recommend for teak

Great product, easy to use
I purchased the teak sealer to restore some very old teak deck chairs. I completely disassembled the chairs and buffed all of the brass. I used three coats of the sealer on the chairs. Six months later, the chairs still look great. My next project will be teak benches that will be lightly sanded but not disassembled. I am very happy with this product and would wholeheartedly recommend.

Somewhat disappointed with this product
I used this product on a teak dining room table. After thoroughly cleaning the surface, I applied 3 coats of teak sealer to the table. It did make the wood look very fine, bringing out the natural grain, but the surface is really not sealed as water rings from cold drinks form conspicuously, and do not eventually disappear. In no way, then, does this product "seal" the teak surface.
