Super quite, high quality
This is a solid wave maker that runs very efficiently. No vibration, hum or noise. The magnet is super strong, easy to position and it stays in place. High quality product.

Super quiet
It's popular because it's easy to clean. Quiet, power efficient, high quality. What's not to like. I bounce the flow off the back of my 36 gallon bowfront otherwise quite a strong current.

Not too big but works wonderfully!
I bought two of these for my 55 gallon tall freshwater. I was having issues with stagnant water at the bottom of the tank; lots of algae buildup and generally just dirty despite two OTR full filters going on either end. The amount of water these things move is pretty good but they aren't adjustable, so you have to be aware of where they are pointing. In my case I have one all the way at the bottom of the tank shooting lengthwise across the rear, and the other about halfway up and angled downwards pointing in the opposite direction so it scrubs across the glass. What I noticed almost right away is my live plants seem to be doing much better with a little current moving - they're greening up and sending out new growth. The algae problem is pretty much non existent now. An occasional cleaning every couple of weeks on the glass is all that's needed. I have tetras and a huge angelfish; the tetras love the extra movement; the angelfish doesn't seem to mind. He finds the more still pools around the tank.Good investment, I think!

Magnets
Pump works as quite well. It is small so doesn't take up much space and it's quiet. Magnets barely hold on 1/2 glass, nudge it and it falls off. I paid double because I did not want suction cups as they sometimes fall off, this is worse. I backed it up with another magnet. Works great on glass smaller than 1/2 inch.

Powerful and quiet.
This little pump is very powerful and quiet and it's a nice price point working very well in my saltwater tank.
