My error.
Self warming socks are fine, but they're not what I wanted to order. When you activate the chemicals, the socks provide heat until the chemical action ends. When my wife is in her chair. she wants heat for about 3 hours. I thought I was ordering battery-operated electric socks which would give her control over how long she needed the heat. As I said, self warming is good, but not in our situation. clem rogan

Didn't stay warm very long
I didn't care for these and obviously we used them so I couldn't send them back. They only stayed warm maybe 30 minutes or so!

Arrived already opened. Used up. Worthless
The corner of the package had already been ripped off, this exposing to oxygen and activating, thus using it up completely before it even got to me. Already rock hard and cold when I opened it. I it was wrapped in another taped bag, which didn’t have the loose corner in it. So it was this way when it left the amazon warehouse. Completely useless

Great stocking stuffer for folks who live in places with cold weather -- especially those who take public transit or walk in snow. :)
