PDP Pixel Pals Capcom Mega Man Collectible Lighted Figure, 878-025-NA-MEG-NB

For an inexpensive novelty item, the Pixel Pal is a good quality and great looking addition to your gaming collection. So why I am only giving it 2 stars? There are two reasons: 1) One obvious use for this item would be to use it as a night light or as part of a video game collection display. In either one of these circumstances you would have it turned on most if not all of the time. The problem is that it runs on batteries that would drain quickly. Therefore you would want an AC adapter, but unfortunately it does not come with one presumably as a cost cutting measure. Using an AC adapter you have shoved in a closet won't help either because thew AC adapter required for your pixel pal is a propriety design that must be purchased separately. For this, I am deducting one star which leaves 4 out of 5 stars. Still in the good range - a product that could be improved but still very nice......but there is another much worse problem...The AC adapter is out of stock on the pixel pal website and on Amazon as well. There is no indication of when or if they will be back in stock.So what we are left with is something that looks nice on a shelf, but otherwise unable to fulfill what should be obvious potential uses. I could deal with spending the extra cash for an AC adapter, and in that scenario I would rate the item a 4/5. However, I am unable to buy such an adapter and therefore I am penalizing a further 2 stars. It looks nice and it is made well, but I purchased it with the intention of leaving it turned on a lot more than a few minutes here and there before replacing the batteries. However, if the AC adapter becomes available to purchase and I am able to get one I will revise my review to 4/5.

A gift for my dad and he loves it. Even used it to make a giant version in Minecraft cuz it has the block count

I was a huge fan of the Mega Man games as a kid, so when I saw this, I just had to buy it. I got a USB adapter as well, and combining that with an old cell phone charger, I use this Mega Man light as a nightlight. It's a pretty good conversation starter when I have guests over too.

Bought for my husbands birthday and he loved it! He’s a huge mega man fan! It’s pretty small but it’s still so perfect to look at. He sets it on his desk for work and everyone compliments it. :)

I may have been born in the eighties, but I have no idea what went on the eighties. My nostalgic gamer of a husband sure seems to know. He loves it. It lights up. Looks great on a desk next to a computer and a picture of your wife and kids... I should give him a picture of me and the kids.

Really great product. It's Megaman and I like having this on my bedroom shelf at night. It adds a pleasant bit of ambient light. If you get the usb adaptor for it then it really shines. On batteries, eh, it lasts several nights but the brightness gradually fades with time.

Though the product itself is great, the battery power is frustrating and does not last very long. Though a USB-adapter exists now, it is fairly expensive and should have come with the product itself.

Love Pixel Pals. True to how it looked on the original 8 bit Mega Man video game, especially when you turn on the light. Great for collecting, gift ideas, displaying it on your work table, etc. What can I say, I have ordered other characters as well. A must if you love the old school gaming.

Niedlich und mega cool.Hab Batterien rein gegeben zum testen und die Leuchtkraft ist nochmals ein mega Highlight.Cooles Teil. Bin mega begeistert.Schade nur dass es ohne USB Funktion ist obwohl ein Zettel bei gepackt ist wo steht es funktioniert mit USB. Den Zettel werd ich wohl entfernen müssen um keine Hoffnungen zu machen...

I wasn't sure what I would think when I first bought it. I bought 2 for my friend for his birthday and 1 for me. I ended up buying another 1 for myself and pre-ordered the new Link one coming out in the next wave.At first I wasn't crazy about them until I turned them on. They provide a nice light (not too bright) and can be functional. My friend uses them for a nightlight in his room and says the nostalgia makes him feel very comforted. I would recommend these for everyone who grew up with these characters! I'll definitely be tracking the future releases!

Fue para un regalo, la persona está encantada. A pesar de lo pequeñita que es emite mucha luz y está muy conseguida la forma de Megaman pixelado. Yo recibí la de Wonder Woman también como regalo y estoy muy contenta. Ideal para hacer un detalle a un amigo fan de lo retro o sencillamente como autoregalo; genial para decorar y además hacen luz, por lo que resultan adecuadas como lamparita para la mesita de noche.
