Good product, nice quality, somewhat expensive but worth it.

Size ordered is sized right for USA boot size. Soft, while still firm. Super warm and excellent quality. Definitely a 'best buy'. No need to look anywhere else. Plus customer service is top notch.

They are quite stiff when new but work in to a nice softness after several wearings and yet remain nice and thick.

Many of today's boots and shoes have thin soles that will transmit a loose stone or irregular surface directly to the soles of your feet and nerves and tendons therein. I have used these felt insoles in many shoes and boots I've worn and experienced much more relief from cold, snow, and potentially injurious surfaces I've tread upon. Since they are much thicker and less forgiving than the standard foam rubber inserts, make sure that the shoes you plan to place them in have the extra space for them, otherwise you may find your shoe wear fitting uncomfortably tight. You can trim these with a pair of stout scissors if they are too large in length or width, but you cannot easily reduce the thickness, although I did hammer a pair long ago to make more room in my boots. Overall, a very useful product, and the price of these on Amazon is much better than the usual rancher's supply stores.
