I am very happy with these as an upgrade over the plastic shafts my house darts came with. They're durable, colorful, and nice-looking. I also bought some rubber o-rings to help keep them secure inside the dart barrel, which is very helpful. Otherwise, you're often having to hand-tighten them between throws.They hold flights very well--the first time you insert flights you might find that they're a little too tight to get them inserted without damaging the flight, but if you just take a steel tip dart and push against the slots from the back, they will open up enough to allow the flight to slide in securely.I have not had any worries about breakage from normal use. My family enjoys the different colors, and has fun changing the flights to match the shafts, making them truly custom. I've used these shafts on several different types and manufacturers of dart barrels, and they all fit just fine. I'm very happy with these!

Aluminum could stand to be a little hardened. Dart bounced of board and landed on concrete floor. The next throw I noticed it was bent

Wondered why they didn't screw all the way in. I believe (as the amateur player I clearly am) that this is all I need. They look and feel great!
