Wills these heads replace the Pegler Terrier Heads

Most modern TRV heads are M30 x 1.5mm so there should be a very high probability. I suggest you measure the thread of your heads with a Vernier gauge checking both diameter and pitch.

What does each setting 1-5 correlate to in room temperature setting

The numbers on a thermostatic radiator valve refer to the temperature in the room, not the radiator. This is a common misconception, so don't worry if you weren't aware of this before.The very point of a thermostatic radiator valve is that it can detect the temperature in the room and will let more or less hot water into the radiator accordingly. If the room is cold, the the TRV will allow more hot water into the room to heat it up. As the room gets warmer, the TRV will restrict the amount of hot water coming into the radiator to maintain the temperature. If the room temperature starts to drop, the TRV will allow more hot water in...and so on. The numbers on the valve roughly correlate to the room temperatures below. When the room drops below these temperatures, the TRV will allow hot water to flow into the radiator: 0 = Off * = 7°C 1 = 10°C 2 = 15°C 3 = 20°C 4 = 25°C 5 = 30°C This can only be a guide and not construed as factual.

cheap and works

Works both as a thermostat and as a valve. Made cheaply and flimsy, but literally 3 times less expensive than A-brand you expect to find in your home. 3 stars, + one star for price. Do not recommend as a long-term solution for a personal house, but OK for a temporary (reneted) property

Not a 'Universal fit for all radiators

These radiator valves did not fit my radiatiors so are not what I'd call a 'universal fit'. All my rads are 20 years old if that helps. I was hoping to buy more but sadley have had to return them.
