Good set of extenders
Overvall very effective set of valve extenders for the bike. Definitely use Teflon tape or mix on threads to prevent air leaks. I did notice that these valve extenders do require continental valve cores as you will see in the picture it is only compatible with the narrow seal ring. If you use other valve cores you will not be able to pump air in. Once you get the right valve cores in, extenders work great. Overall great product

Works fine but
Works fine but requires as valve removal tool to move the valve from the original stem to the extender.

Thank You! Dan Martin for The No Air Flow Fix!
I got frustrated too with these valve extensions not allowing much air in or out if any at all after installing them in the tube. I then performed the trick that a reviewer called Dan Martin mentioned in here by removing the original valve stem core that came with the tube and putting in a different core which also worked for me so, you'll have to buy an aftermarket different core brand which Amazon sells plenty of and problem solved. Funny though the original and aftermarket valve cores look identical but only the aftermarket will work and fix the problem. Also, if it leaks a little of air at the bottom of the extension just add a bit of Teflon tape on the threads to fix the leak as suggested by others. I have to say this guy is very smart and intuitive and his great idea helped many of us. Thank you Dan!

READ THIS if you are using Conti tubes
READ THIS! If you are putting these extenders on Conti tubes and reusing the same cores, you might find it nearly impossible to pump air. Get rid of the Conti core and you should be fine again. This "bug" made me regret buying this product until I discovered this workaround. I had just gotten a new specialized aethos and was installing new tubes and tires but realized too late that the county tubes I ordered didn't have stems long enough for the new carbon wheels. The tubes that came with the bike were too narrow for the tire I was installing, so I took the cores out and used them in the new tubes with the extensions. Everything worked fine once I did that.

This is the style valve extender you want
Don't waste your money and give yourself aggravation using any valve extenders that dn't have this feature of actually moving the valve. The ones that just screw on to the end of your valve and rely on pressure to open the valve are a royal pain in the butt compared to these guys. Never had a failure with this brand or its harder to fine equivalent from Zipp. Multiple failures with other extenders that close the valve or don't seal wells etc. Get these and give yourself some peace of mind. (You'll need to buy tubes with a removable valve core, which cost a couple bucks more...but you're riding Zipps or some other expensive wheel if you need these, so quit complaining about a couple bucks for a decent tube!). :-)

Easy to install, works like a charm
This is a terrific product. My wheels have deep rims, and the tube for my front wheel only comes with a 40mm valve stem, which makes it difficult to get a good seal with the pump. I bought the 20mm valve extender and installed it with no problem in about 10 minutes. As suggested in several Youtube videos, I used a little bit of Teflon plumber's tape on the threads to ensure a good seal. Now, the pump engages with no problem, and the valve does NOT leak at all. I should have done this a long time ago.

Great quality! Not good for tubless set up.
First off I want to point out that these didn't work for me as I thought they would have. I was setting up 50mm carbon rims, tubeless, forgetting the fact that I need the stems to be fastened to the wheel. These are not threaded to receive a holding nut and can easily be pushed into the rim causing air leakage. However, as a product these are a much better option than using extenders that screw over the presta core, where it is hard to check pressure with a standard gauge and needing to stick a piece of wire or spoke down the shaft the release air. The presta core screws right in to the stem allowing to easily achieve the a fore mentioned tasks. Definitely use a little Teflon tape on the threads before screwing into valve stem.

Expensive, But Necessary
I am sure you, like me, are thinking... do I really need this? I am also sure you, like me, learned that there's a specification on a tire tube that tells you the length of the presta stem. So I regret to inform you... yes it's necessary if you, like me, bought tubes with too short of stems and realize it is not worth shipping the tubes back. Super easy to install. I had the Park Tool VC-1 tool but the included little wrench works fine. I used the included wrench to install the main cylinder. All hand tight and haven't noticed any leakage. I am almost certain I can use them on the spare tube when the time comes (since I have 3 tubes but only two extenders).

Continental valve extenders
Perfect fit with both the inner tube connector and the click valves I use. Provides a Proper seal - holds air better than the latex tubes they’re fitted to. Great product - good quality, great value.

High quality and reliable
Typical Continental quality. These are lightweight, easy to fit, and create a perfect airtight seal. I’ve tried cheaper unbranded extenders before that leaked constantly, but these have been faultless. Essential bit of kit for the saddlebag if you're running deeper rims. Fast delivery to the UK as well.
