I was able to lower my 65 inch Samsung (Yes, it fits a 65 inch screen too!) to about 1 inch above the surface of my TV stand. I needed to lower the height of the TV to fit in a nook area. The factory stand that comes with the TV was too high for it to fit in the nook so this stand did the trick. The pedestal came neatly packaged with multiple sizes of screws. It even came with tools to install. It was very easy to put together. Just be VERY, VERY careful to use the correct screws that go into the back of the TV. If you use the wrong length it could damage the screen and make your $1500.00 TV useless junk. I had to use standoffs that were included with the TV (not included in the the pedestal stand) for the wall mount/pedestal.
