Touch Fingerprint Smart Lock, Black, Biometric, Bluetooth Enabled, Auto Lock, Voice Control via Alexa or Google

This is literally the only deadbolt lock on the market with an integrated keypad that has A SMALL BACK PLATE FOOTPRINT. This makes it the only product in existence that will look decent on a security door. On every other model, the back plate is visible through the screen. I'm so happy they designed this lock with a small battery pack and short interior plate so you dont have to see the ugly internal component from outside the door. The lock is well packaged and it feels weighty and luxurious in the hand - like an apple product. However the available finishes aren't quite as luxurious. It just looks like a hunk of black plastic. I wish antique or patinaed metal finishes were available to match trends in door hardware (unlaquered or antique brass or at least oil rubbed bronze). If the company ever offered a trade in for a new front plate in better finishes I would gladly buy the new part. Another aesthetic issue is that it's centered top to bottom rather than being centered on the circular part. That leaves it looking slightly too low on the door. My door has a molded protrusion where the lock should be set and this lock cannot be aligned with that. So all these cosmetic issues really cheapen an otherwise luxurious product sold at a pretty premium price point. But it still gets 5 stars because it's the only option and I'm just thankful it exists at all.

Update: After 4 months of use, this locks battery had died. I'm the only one that lives in the home, I use the lock no more than 10x per week. Their own website states the batteries should last 6 to 8 months. What a disappointing product. Do me a favor, just wait for the wireless standard of products, then buy a lock that will work with whatever smart hub you own, let it be google, amazon or etc.I'm giving this product an average rating. I had to buy two of them, the first one, when connecting the outside part to the plate used to mount the inside part, one of the posts broke off, after inspection, I discovered it was only partially soldered on. Not overly impressed.The finger print reader can be fickle, and only works sometimes, making you lift your finger and try again and again. The unit lets you know if the lock is engaged or disengage as well as if it's only partial engaged. I can see this to be a battery waster. Only once I was forced to use my key, which is pretty useless as well, and very difficult to use, as you have to put the key under the lock where you can't see and feel around until it goes in.The battery was only partial charged, about 75%, this is sad because I see no way to recharge the battery and forcing the consumer to buy a new battery.It's bulker than I wish it would have been.Only reason I bought this lock as it was recommended by a locksmith, after buying it, found an article stating to hold off on buying smart locks as they were working on a standard. Now that would be nice, as this lock can work on it's own, but recommended you buy it's hub which I did. Pairing with the hub was a pain in the but. It could have been the ok phone app as well. It was no treat though setting up the lock. Once setup, it was fine, but would be nice if I could have avoided buying the hub and just use my Google Home Hub instead.If I knew what I know today, I would have held off and waiting to see if somebody better came out in 2022, as I don't think we are there yet with electronic locks for homes.

The subscription sucks way too much 299 yearly is too much I would never pay a subscription for a lock no way it’s insane there’s so many others smart locks for free and they’re great

I liked the fingerprint feature, but it never worked for my wife.To do anything you have to touch the fingerprint sensor to "wake it up." We installed it just over a month ago with 3 of us living here, it died with no warning and believe rain killed it. Very disappointed and recommend that you don't by this for exterior applications.

Initially, I was going to leave a 5 star review. I will tell you why not.I found a security vulnerability where it significantly increases the chances of a hacker entering your home.I sent Securam a message via their site inquiring about a patch but they haven't responded. They either don't care or they don't monitor their customer concerns. Its been over a week.As of this point, I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you wish a secure home. I would add another locking device on top of this one.

Love this state of the art lock! The instructions were pretty easy because you can go back in the video if you need a 2nd look. When ever you lock or unlock your door it talks to you confirming what action you just did. I live in an apartment complex and my neighbors are like this dude has a lock that runs on a computer, they were impressed. The stealth key slot is underneath the lock and hidden of course. So the neighbors think it's keyless.My favorite part is the fingerprint, it ROCKS! Make sure you turn the auto lock feature on to just in case. Then I use the keypad if my hands are wet from it raining outside. I highly recommend this lock!!!

I had a Kwikset Obsidian deadbolt that drained batteries every day. I only had that for two years and got fed up. I wanted something that was sleek, touch and didn't take up a large portion of the door. This Securam Touch is all that and more. And the packaging! I thought I was opening a box of jewelry. First class and made me feel like I made the perfect choice. The lock is great quality and very easy to install. I have not been able to sync with my phone yet but I've only had it a few days so I will try to set it up. And if I need the hub for that, this is a keeper so I don't mind adding that.

This was very easy to install ! Instructions were easy and understandable. Nice be able to go back if needed. I like the construction very sturdy and elegant presentation. Voice feedback was unexpected and very helpful ! The only issue I was having is trying to pair with phone but other than that it’s a great device ! Hidden key slot makes it look keyless and the way the key is made wouldn’t be easy to duplicate which plants a sense of security as well !
