Maybe a little to stiff. But I hope that means they last a very long time lol. I actually have to have to push in when I press in on the glass to get it to release and then it usually opens itself. I like that it almost opens itself, but it is a little annoying to have to push in, you have to time it just rightWhat is stretch in in the star ratting???

First set received had one good one frozen in place. Amazon accepted return. second set good no problems

These worked out perfectly and looked pretty much exactly like the OEM ones. Very simple to pop off the old ones and pop these right on. Window stays open perfectly. Great price too. 5 stars.

These struts have the ball joint on the top pin so that the top bracket can pivot for attachment to the liftgate. These work.

Great product, first few 100x of closing the tailgate was a struggle, now it is better being "broken in"

Installed them today . Perfect fit , about 15 minutes to install . Very strong hold gate up great . No more bump's on my head ( Ouch ) .
