Grundfos is by far the superior pump
I installed this pump in place of a Liang pump on my Jacuzzi J345 hot tub. It's been about a week and I'm very happy I went to the effort to retrofit this Grundfos pump into my tub.Before I purchased this pump I replaced my dead Liang with another Liang since I figured it would be a no-brainer. Well I wasted 450 gallons of water and about 80kwh of power because after the initial heatup the replacement Liang failed as well! Less than 24 hours! And that's a very scary and stressful thing in the dead of winter...I also must mention that the Grundfos build quality gives me a lot of confidence. It's made of metal. The plastic on it is reinforced with what looks like fiberglass. The hose connections are barbed. Even the wiring feels more substantial than the Liang.I really feel like this pump is absolutely going to outlive my hot tub. If you have any other brand of circulation pump and are looking for a replacement, go Grundfos. They also make 120v models too...

This pump was inexpensive, easy to install and works beautifully. Very pleased with the product - as long as it doesn't break down any time soon.
