Kids love it, messy for adults
Kids loved the kit. Downside is it is quite fiddly to clean. It meant it was harder to use again.

Disappointing. Broadband Internet Access required
Very disappointed by what this promised. Contents: a few stickers, couple aluminum pots and cardboard trays, chocolate powder, thermometer. The latter is next to useless - a candy thermometer which is not accurate enough when seeking to control temperature within narrow range of 20-50degC. Instructions online only and very difficult to download when broadband access limited. And then the recipe doesn't work - ganache not crisp tempered chocolate. I'm a STEM ambassador and creative - so sounded like a great tool to use to explore and learn with grandchildren. I'm going to find a book and continue to use my wine thermometer.

Recipes are useless, don't waste your money
Anyone who's ever done any work with chocolate before will see that these recipes are nonsense. Don't follow them or you'll end up with a sticky mess. Save your money, buy some chocolate moulds and some bars of chocolate (which you don't get with the set, by the way) and find a recipe online which tells you how to actually temper chocolate successfully. This ain't it
