Dominica Bay Rum Herbal Soap 4oz. :: 3 Pack Value

I've used Dominica Bay Rum Aftershave for many years. It is highly recommended. This soap is a complement to that natural scent. The soap has a very rich lather so it doesn't take too much. Don't leave this one sitting in the soap dish or it will diminish quickly for an expensive bar. It dries relatively quickly in a nice aerated dish. Good for shower. The small bits (Bay Rum Leaf?) can be a little scratchy for a sensitive skin, but the scent and lather are worth it to me.

I bought this soap for my husband, who wanted some bay rum soap. He had no idea how hard it is to find some bay rum soap that didn't cost a fortune. Also, it's tricky to buy something fragrant over the internet(you'll never know what you'll get), but I apparently hit the soap jackpot, for he just loves this. It does smell wonderful-kind of spicy, the way bay rum should smell, and it was not too expensive. Great lathering soap, too, so he tells me.

I'm with other who say this doesn't smell much like bay rum. My biggest problem with this is, it feels like I am rubbing course grit sand paper all over me. OUCH!!! I don't have sensitive skin but it is sensitive when I get done with this soup. Feels like they used a triple batch of pumas. Would not recommend.

I purchased this for my daughter who was doing a school project about Dominica. We kept one bar for our own use. The soap does have a strong spice smell which is somewhat masculine, but to me was pleasant. The bars are nice sized. And they contain an exfoliant.

Here lately I've on a Bay Rum scent kick. The soap that I RECEIVED, doesn't have any scent of bay rum, whatsoever.I read all the reviews and one reviewer said it smelled like cresol. Well the soap I got smells exactly like pine tar. I cansee where it could smell like cresol. I have Grand Pa's pine tar soap, that's the best. However, this soap smells a little harsherthat Grand Pa's.Not trying to scare you off buying this soap, just wanted to let you know what it smells like. ( NOT BAY RUM ). I amreturning the favor to all the honest reviews that I go by when I purchase a product. As I said, it has a strong harsh pine tarscent. I gave 3 stars because of the nice box and the soap is cut into an old fashion type bar. You can tell some hand madework went into the making of this soap. The scent is just not what it was described to be. I'm not " bad mouthing " thisproduct, just letting you know it does NOT smell like bay rum. This product is pictured to the exact on the seller's page...

I like this Bay Rhum scent more than any body wash. I am allergic to many chemical scents and dyes and this product does not trigger any reactions!
