It was very difficult to insert the plates because the glue was sticking out. Didn't feel like sending them back and waiting for a new order, so I used a razor blade to cut down the excess glue at the edges so that I could slide the plates into my machine. Wish the company had checked the plates before packing them. Quality control thing. Well my plates came today and looked great! I pulled out the original plates made by the manufactuter and they were covered with glue oozing out on all sides! The quality of the plates I got today was far superior to the $50 plates! I put in both plates and they really put out the ozone, so I am cutting back to one plate to see if that will be sufficient. They came off on both sides after I ran them under warm water. Simple hot glue used to affix plates. I tried to reattach but Metal part affixed to the plate but to no avail.
