BUILT Bar Puff Protein Bars - Coconut - 17g Protein Snack Bars with Collagen - Calorie Conscious & Gluten Free - 12 Count

I've been wanting to try this forever. I never see the BUILT Puff bar options in store. I really didnt want to buy a case, but recently I decided to splurge. Glad I did! I already want more, and I hope they have more flavors actually available soon. Many are unavailable :( I wanted to try them because I love chocolate covered marshmallow. I really prefer it when the marshmallow is firm and kinda chewy rather than soft. I joke that I like stale marshmallow. But man, when I get those egg cartons at Easter time that are filled with chocolate covered egg shape marshmallows, there is always a couple of "tough" ones in the bunch, and THAT is what I like. Same goes for other holiday offerings of this ilk. So I bit into this and was in heaven. It has that firm, dense chew, that tough marshmallow texture that I yearn for. If these were extra soft, I wouldnt be as impressed. This is very much actual marshmallow, and I am surprised that more "protein" bars dont utilize it. Gelatin has protein. I have made my own marshmallows before, so I may get back to that. For best utilized protein in form of collagen, we want hydrolyzed, but hydrolyzed doesnt "gel", hence we want non-hydrolyzed collagen, or "gelatin". This uses both, so both of both worlds. Also whey protein, but manages to not have a whey protein taste. The outer chocolate is ok. It isnt delicious, more of a vessel for carrying the marshmallow. Very basic "chocolate". Definitely more of a candy vibe. Never would think this was a protein bar, Very pricy though. These are small bars, maybe 4-5 bites max. I dont rate on price though--we can all see price, have different budgets, needs, preferences, and for me.. desires. lol. I just really wanted to try it, and now that I know that it is what I want texture wise, I will likely buy more. Hope to see a sale, coupon, or subscribe and save offer soon. BTW, the option I bought is coconut, and it has a light coconut flavor. I also tried these upon delivery, which was a very cold day. Not sure if the marshmallow gets softer (hope not), but if it does, then I know to enjoy these direct from fridge.

An amazing way to get protein. If you love marshmallow, you will love these protein bars. Coconut is by far one of the best flavors! I’ve tried mostly all of them.

I got a few of these from the store when I had gestational diabetes because I was craving something sweet. These are so delicious. I now order them in bulk and I am no longer pregnant. They are my favorite. I’ve made a bunch of family members try them and they like them too. The coconut flavor is my favorite but I do like the others. They really taste like a real candy bar. Delicious! The quality has been great, in store and from being shipped by Amazon. I like buying on Amazon vs the store because you can get a bigger box and more flavors are available. When I have a craving for sweets I grab one and it makes me feel satisfied. It doesn’t have that weird protein flavor that most bars have. I love the texture. It’s like the chocolate covered marshmallows you get during the holidays. Edit- I tried the churro ones and they are really gross. My son and I both couldn’t have more than one bite. They tasted like vomit, no lie. Going to have to stick with the coconut and banana ones

One of the best protein bars I had. Taste like a well known candy bar. Great treat when want something sweet.

These are the most amazing protein bars ever! Like chocolate covered marshmallows or put them in the fridge for a chewy, taffy consistency. They are small but they totally satisfy the sweet tooth.

These new protein bars are absolutely amazing. They taste so good. It's hard to believe they have that much protein in them. The coconut ones are my favorite. My son has the chocolate peanut butter ones. If you buy them, you won't be disappointed if you like marshmallow. Low sugar, easy to digest and filling.

I usually love this flavor, but something went wrong here. Maybe it was the delivery heat and smashing around, but it does not taste the same and the color on the inside is even different. I’ve included a pic for an individual bar from the store with a white interior and one from this box which went brown and tastes chemically. Keeping the rating up higher than this box represented because they usually are very good

I’ve tried the full variety pack. Between myself & my partner, the brownie & coconut goes the fastest, and we can keep eating them without getting sick of the flavor. It’s rare we have a protein bar we don’t get tired of after a full box, so I really love these puff bars. **Note: Don’t be intimidated by having to reach out to the seller if you have trouble with your order. I received the wrong flavor, and they contacted me less than 24hr after submitting my request. They offered a refund or to send another box of the correct flavor; awesome service from these guys.**

Delicious. I'm obsessed with these protein bars. Basically just chocolate covered marsmallows. There's no sickly artificial protein taste. Good protein to calorie ratio. The price is criminally high though.

Very tasty protein bar with subtle coconut flavour, no aftertaste. Nice marshmallows texture.

If you eat protein bars. You will like these. Most have that chalky taste. These are not like that. These have a marshmallow feel. Taste awesome. They may too good.
