NOW 5-HTP 100mg 120 Veg Capsules, 50 g

Sleep and mood have always been two areas I’ve struggled with. Some nights I’d toss and turn for hours, and during the day I would get hit with waves of stress that made it hard to focus. I came across NOW’s 5-HTP while reading about natural ways to support serotonin levels, and I decided to give it a try. I started taking one capsule in the evening about 30–45 minutes before bed. The first couple of nights I noticed I was falling asleep faster, and by the end of the first week, I was waking up feeling more refreshed instead of groggy. During the day, I’ve also felt a little more balanced. I still have stressful moments, but I don’t seem to ride the same highs and lows as before. It’s not a dramatic, overnight fix, but the difference is noticeable enough that I’ve kept it in my daily routine. NOW is a brand I’ve used before and trust, and this supplement just reinforced why.

I started using 5HTP recently and have noticed it has a big effect on my mood during the day. This brand seems to work well. Would recommend.

I am not brave enough to try these on an empty stomach because I know they can cause nausea for some people and I don’t want to deal with that, but on a full stomach I have taken 2 at a time without any negative effects. I have taken them for a couple of weeks but have had trouble taking them consistently enough to really give them a chance to work, so I can’t tell yet if they are helping. I will update later on if I discover they are working for me.

Didn’t notice a difference but probably should have given it time to work.
