Easy instructions

I bought this book for a ten year old girl who wants to learn to knit. I plan to teach her basics. The illustrations in this book are the best I’ve seen. It also shows more than just knit and pearl stitches - great for beginners or experienced knitters who just need a refresher or reference!

I bought this for my 8 and 10 year olds who have been learning very basic knitting (literally knit stitch scarves only) from me. Bear in mind that I am still learning myself, so there were tips in this book I wish I had when I first started knitting. It does a great job at breaking down the basics and has very simple projects that the kids can do with minimal supervision or assistance. The instructions are super simple to follow, including how to know which stitch to do if you lose count or how to fix a mistake. I would give it 5 stars if it were longer. It's pretty short an sweet.

This “first knitting” book is outstanding! I love to knit and have been trying to teach my child. This book simplifies everything with illustrations and step-by-step very basic instructions, including what to do if you slip a stitch!

Got this for my granddaughter

I got this for my daughter's xmas present go with knitting kit. She wish this product so bad. She is 8 years old and when she tried to do it, it was a bit difficult for her. Although it is difficult she still willing to do it and so happy.Hope soon she will make some thing with this and do her multiple project. Thank you!

Love how book shows BOTH girls and boys knitting! Very easy to understand instructions, simply put and not overwhelming.

This instruction book is so colorful with awesome illustrations and simply written. Just what young beginners would be drawn to! The only thing this book misses is how to hold the yarn to regulate tension. I'm able to show my grandchild that so not an issue for me. Also, there are so many utube videos that can be used as a resource.

Bought this for my 11-year-old granddaughter. She is thrilled with it, but be prepared to help them in their early efforts. Great idea for someone this age.
