Should not be food safe.
Why on earth do they not sell a squeeze bottle where the lid does not have ridges. They need to be smooth for ease of cleaning and no chance of food or bacteria to get in between. Don't they realize that all the stuff gets stuck in there and you ultimately cannot clean it out. I understand it makes it easier to take the top off but it is not food safe. I clean and sanitize the bottles constantly but by the end of the day, or if god forbid I have a day off there is sooo much shmegma in the cap that everyone is touching in the kitchen. It should be a 4 pt food violation, I swear FAIL

Work great, love the wide mouth. I would rate 5 star if they came with caps.

Good Design, No Leaks, Solid
I use these for cooking oils. They replace bottles that leaked and which had to be cleaned after every use. The design of the lid prevents leaking. This was a good purchase, would do so again.
