Bought this fireplace to replace a unit that died last week. Primary objective was to get one that had vivid lighting as the previous fireplace lighting was too dim even at highest settings.After reading other reviews and checking the site data this item seemed to fill our needs. It arrived on time and was well packed. The only glitch was the parts package and directions were inside the sealed housing. Having assembled others the problem was easily rectified. There are two silver screws, one on each side of the assembled housing. THESE HOLD THE UNIT TOGETHER. Once removed, assembly is quite simple. I believe there was supposed to be a sticker next to them stating they needed to be removed. None were on our unit, and for some buyers in the same predicament, it could be a challenge ! Otherwise we're more than pleased with the device and the lighting is spectacular. A great purchase.

My mother-n-law absolutely loves this. She thanked us for it, but when my husband installed it, she was over the moon! I think the fact that she can turn on the "fire" without the heat is what puts it over the top. The remote works easily, even for an 85 year old lady. She shows it off to everyone who has visited. She used to have a gas fireplace insert, but the gas made her nervous and in MS, we only have 2-3 really cold months, so she thought it just took up space in her livingroom. But not anymore. My husband said the assembly was easy, it was getting the old gas insert removed and capped off that was difficult.

Very nice looking! Going in our (still in process) four-seasons room. I picked green just to show the cool colors you can pick. We were being productive and precut our opening for the heater. I recommend you do not. My husband is VERY handy and extremely experienced with measurements and the dimensions given are just off a tick. We'll add a border or trim of some kind to ours, but I recommend you wait until you physically get it:) Otherwise, awesome!!

Pretty simple installation. I would recommend buying before finalizing your hole size. Not great heat output. I am happy with the log insert.

I bought this fireplace insert to install in an addition. I had it for about a month before I was able to install. When I plugged it in it worked as described and had decent heat output. But after a couple of uses the heat stopped working all together.

Purchased this unit for cost and size. The dimensions given by manufacturer are correct. The unit heats well and can change colors. Very easy fit as an insert into a fireplace. Very happy with purchase. Even more important, the wife loves it!. Have had the unit for a short time, but have used everyday. Very happy with purchase. As a side note, in the images taken, have used the crystals. The ember unit looks cheap and threw it away. Easy assembly and would recommend this product. Delivery was very good and arrived 2 days early. Would definitely purchase this again.
