Pu Leather Sponge Mat Face Cushion Replacement for HTC Vive VR Headset - 9mm (Pack of 2)

The one problem I had with the Vive when I got it was the facepad. The one that’s included is made of a rough material that absorbs sweat like a sponge and is pretty much impossible to get out. These on the other hand, are really good. The material is leather like and feels very nice when you have the Vive on. It brings you closer to the screen than the standard facepad, which I wasn’t expecting, but turns out it’s one of the best things about these facepads. Sweat does kind of absorb naturally but not nearly as much and is actually easy to get the sweat out. Overall, these are a must buy if you own a Vive imo.

Worlds better than the stock pads for the the vive, but I couldn't quite get them to fit perfectly on my headset. Unless I place them off-axis towards the top of the headset the rough plastic edge of the pads rubs against my nose and gets irritating. That being said my nose is pretty large and this might not be an issue for a lot of people. Overall though they handle sweat MUCH better and clean a lot easier than foam pads, and they're relatively cheap compared to other replacements.

What its made out of isnt the problem, but with it being so thin it feels hard on the face and isnt good for long play.

I wanted to get a different face mask for the vive since the one it came with absorbs sweat and was really gross when trying to play with others and having to share that cold, smelly face mask. This is comfortable, easy to clean and much cooler than the sponge it comes with. And having two in case one breaks is perfect. I love it.

For the price and for its function, there's nothing to complain about. At first glance I'd say they are built okay, but in for the long run you shouldn't expect these to be the highest of quality anyways. They are for use for your guests who come over to share your headset, and for that intent these face foam masks fulfill the need perfectly for a small cost. Will buy more again if needed.

I do think this is a slight improvement over the original face cushion. Keeps the moisture out if you sweat.

Really liked the new face mask for the Vive it cleans much easier than the stock face cover and doesn’t hurt my face after long sessions.
