They are the perfect size for little hands (he is 6 years old) and they are compact enough to slide into the compartments of his bento boxes. I love that he can use them to dip fruit or pick up sticky fruit like bananas/mangoes, etc. so it's easier for him to clean up after lunchtime. He can also use them for dipping savory foods into dressing or hummus. I love the variety of shapes and colors as well. They make such a fun and practical addition to our lunch supplies.
