Winfield 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Orange, Carry-On 20-Inch

I bought this for a trip my wife was taking to the NYC. She loves the lightness of this luggage, color and ease of getting it around. She has trouble lifting heavy objects so this Samsonite really did the trick. It fit well in the overhead bins in the airplane, spinner feature is marvelous for getting through congested narrow spaces and it did exceptionally well on the subway. Materials are sturdy and durable. I am planning to get one for myself before my next trip.

I love this carry-on. It has done me well for many trips, in and out of country. The bright orange color is easy to pick right out of the luggage carousel. It still looks new after many trips! I have purchased the large, and carry-on, next is the 24" ! Great item, you won't be disappointed!

Great quality, looks elegant. The close up image of the lock shows a second zipper, suggesting that it is expandable. at least for the carry on in size it is not expandable. For that reason, we returned it, otherwise it is perfect.

Update: Nov 26, 2020: I've had this carry-on for 3 years now and its still going great! I've have been on dozens of flights both short and long and this has been the best carry-on I've ever had. A few white scratches but nothing noticeable. Zippers, wheels, handles all work great just like the day I bought it! Update March 9, 2019: I have had this carry-on for 2 years now and its still holding up strong. I have used it on multiple trips since then. Although there are a few white scratches on the exterior, but nothing terrible. -------------------- I needed a new carry-on and decided to try out the Samsonite Winfield 2 carry-on. So I decided to purchase the sunburnt orange and so far I've used it only one trip. Pros: 1) Great color and polish 2) Good spinning wheels 3) Durable built, from zipper, handle, wheels, and exterior hard shell 4) Good interior spaces. Theres a divider inside allowing you two separate your belongings 5) 2 mid-size mesh pockets inside allowing you to fit and squeeze other things--I found it useful for underwear, socks, and personal care products. 6) Good price point Cons: 1) No side handle--can be useful in some cases. But I didn't really need one. This is more of a personal preference. Overall, I give this carry-on a 5/5. Keep in mind I've only used it on one trip so far. Several reviewers talked about scratches. I haven't seen any on mine, but I am careful with my carry-on but will report anything serious later.

My wife and I bought two of these suitcases, one in orange and one in purple, for our honeymoon on a photo safari in South Africa in the summer of 2018. I was initially skeptical that the suitcases would survive the long flights (with multiple connections) from Dallas to Johannesburg because they aren't big and are remarkably light. After the trip, however, I realized that my concerns were unfounded. Not only did these suitcases easily fit all of the clothes we needed for a winter safari in South Africa (warm clothes, hiking boots, toiletries, etc.) with room to spare for souvenirs, they were easy to move through the airport and fit neatly in the overhead bins on our flights. The four casters made the suitcase easy to maneuver through crowds and security lines, and the TSA approved lock was easy to use and seemed secure. I don't have any real complaints about this suitcase. I've traveled internationally quite a bit in the last few years and, now that I have this suitcase, it will be my go-to carry-on for short trips.

I travel often for business and needed a smaller rolling bag that could fit on all but the smallest commuter planes. Winfield to the rescue. Perfect size, plenty big enough for a whole week's worth of business clothes, an extra pair of workout shoes and toiletries. It does split open down the middle, which means once it's open you can't move it without out having everything spill out; this is annoying but the design contributes to the spacious interior and is certainly not a deal breaker. It also does not have a side handle (ignore the picture -- that's a larger version of the case), but it is so small and light I can hoist it up and over my head without difficulty and I'm only five feet tall.

I do not travel hardly at all. I needed a carryon size luggage. This was perfect for the size and can hold a lot of clothes. It is a soft hard-case luggage but durable for a carryon. I probably would by different if it was going under airplane and handled by airport personnel. I do feel the wheels are a bit fragile when rolling on a non-smooth surface. So I did raise the luggage when I was going over a gap or a bumpy threshold just to relieve pressure on wheels as much as I could. After trip, no damage to luggage and wheels do move with ease. I am very pleased with my decision for the 20" carrying size.
