Exactly what I expected. Fit snug over keyboard well. No slipping or gaps.

Very thin, stays in place, I hardly know it’s there. Keeps my keyboard clean and has saved it from a few spills (yes, I have a bad habit of eating at my desk). The first one I bought stretched out a bit and lost its shape after being washed several times; this is my second one. I was glad to see the same one was still available.

Pluses: - A solution for key whose label has worn off. This might not be an issue for everyone. - A high-contrast fix for an Apple keyboard that seems designed for 20 yr old eyes. - An easy way to keep the keyboard clean and prevent it from being damaged by spilled beverages. - A perfect match for my Mac extended keyboard. Minuses: - Had to use tape to keep it flat in the open space to the left of the numeric keypad. - Key label wears off at the same rate as the original keyboard key. Might not be an issue for everyone.

I've used it for a few days now. I'm getting used to how it feels. In some ways, it's stickier than the keys. Your fingers don't move off as smoothly as they do on Apple's keys. This slows down my typing slightly. It's speeding up as I learn to left before moving rather than sliding. When it's on the keyboard, it's practically invisible. The thing you notice is the keys seem to have a little more depth to them. They stand out further from the keyboard than without the cover. I presume the water/liquid/dirt proofing will work very well. I haven't had something happen to test it. It will work except if the one key which is not covered so you can use Touch ID is not affected by whatever is spilled on the keyboard. It also looks smaller and lower down now than the other keys. I bought the cover to take care of my fingernails scratching the surface of the keys. I've had letters fade out from years of use, but this is a first time for this problem. It's because the black is a layer over the top of the key. That can be scratched and removed. I've been a touch typist for years, but I'd still rather have what each key is visible. It is very worth the small cost. I'm not sure how long it will last under normal daily use, but I think several years baring other unexpected happenings at the least.

Literally too small for my key board. But I realized I can’t type with these on in general so I’ll keep it just to cover my keyboard when I’m not using it. If u only want it to keep dust out when not using the keyboard, great purchase. But if u want it to actually be on as you use your laptop, rethink this purchase.
