Super Dark Black Sunglasses UV Protection Lens Spring Hinge 80s Vintage Retro Inspired Shades

I’ve tried tons of different extra dark sunglasses from Amazon and this pair is by far the darkest and the toughest. I am a mechanic and often forget I leave them on my head and they haven’t leaked withstood multiple bumps into dirty salty rusty car under body stuff and haven’t broken or even scratched. I did break a pair but it was a very hard hit and only cracked the one thin piece under the left lens I easily plastic welded it back together popped the lens in (which wasn’t scratched) and it still holds up. I keep that pair as a back up now and have several others in various places. The only downside is they are so dark that face recognition doesn’t work.

photo attached comparison to R4YB4N sunnies with just a tint. i needed a DARK lens sunnies. most of the ones being sold are like FILTERS and doesn't really help with lowering the brightness. this product is DARK and actual helps with my sensitivity to outside brightness. the frame is matte and is flexible so it works well for wider or bigger head frame. it's made of plastic so its lightweight but very durable even after getting dropped accidentally a couple of times. so far no scratch from shoving it daily on my bag with my other stuff with it. price is reasonable due to the fact that it's actually has DARK TINT not just an accessory but an AIDE. .

I’m very picky on how dark i want my shades and these are dark dark. Not rayban material or quality but it works for the price

For context, I'm wearing these while on deployment in Qatar. It's a very bright dessert in the middle east. The pros: - Very dark - They overall look and feel quality - Soft-touch rubber texture on the frames feels great. - Hinges are high quality and designed to bend a little in both directions. - The frames hold the lens away from the face, maybe it will help prevent it from adding to my raccoon tan. The cons: - Glare! So much glare I can barely see anything. - They only block about 90% of my vision because they're not wrap-arounds and that 10% that gets through is blindingly bright. Overall they're both too bright and too dark at the same time. I hope they make a wrap-around pair or something with less glare (or both). I like the quality though.

Very dark glasses for sure! I'm a welder and I know dark glasses for sure. Anyone who says these glasses are the same darkness as a pair of dark sunglasses is wrong. They are the darkest glasses I've ever put on for sure. Definitely darker than any dark sunglasses I've ever tried. I open the package in my car and put them on while driving on a sunny day and they were actually too dark to keep on while driving! Yes, they are dark! It would be great for working with a torch for sure.

I am very pleased with this purchase! I have severe light sensitivity, and these glasses block out the UV rays 100%. The fit is snug, secure, and comfortable, and although they are relatively a little higher in price, they are well worth it because they provide optimum eye protection. I'm going to get another pair as a back-up.

If I could give these a zero, I would! These sunglasses aren’t worth $5.00, let alone $21!! They are made with a material cheaper than plastic!! I am not a hard person and am accepting of most things, but I was just really disappointed that someone would think that these are worth being sold by anyone for more than $5…

I imagine it is great for people who really need dark glasses. I found them to be too dark to the point I couldn't see at all. Turns out, too, that I had super dark glasses in the house already, so I didn't really need them after all. I will say that they are of excellent quality and looked very sleek. I would recommend it even if it didn't quite work out for me.

There are DARK, as suggested in their write up. I bought them after an eye operation and was sensitive to light. Great on very very bright sunny days, to reduced glare but the rest of the time they are a bit too dark. There is a big gap between the grades of sunglasses and the dark band (4) covers nearly 40% of that upper range. A bit rubbish if you get a pair of glasses close to the bottom end of the range and you need darker. I still have them as they are made well and will keep on using them as long as I have to. Styles are OK and sit me find, fit well on my face and can be worn comfortably for long periods of time.

It is super dark as advertised. It's not the most comfortable glasses but well worth it for the price.

Finally shades that are dark. But now summer has passed so I cannot even use them
