What a difference from the helmet I was wearing before. This one really covers your whole head, it's not "perched" on top of your head. Very comfortable and there's no pressure on your head. I could feel the top, front part of my head on my last helmet which was an uncomfortable pressure point.Looks nice, too! I love the replacement guarantee if you have an accident. Mine said for 3 years (bought Aug. 2018). It has the date on the side of the box so you know when you might need to replace it for showing. Mine is May 2018.I like the 2 inserts. One fit perfectly, the other is a bit tight so I won't use that one. I like how it makes it a custom fit by giving you 2 choices. I do wish you could buy a 2nd liner though. I haven't been able to find just the liner for sale anywhere.I put on a chin wrap from my last helmet to add some cushion there. The strap itself isn't bad, but having a softer cover is better.I haven't owned it long so I can't speak to durability. I do wish it came with a light weight bag like some of the others for storage.

Wow, I love this helmet! Great features are a streamlined low profile appearance, secure fit, and a comfortable adjustable chin strap. I also love the snap out liner and that you get an extra liner included -- such a great idea! You can wash your liners regularly and never be without a clean one - no more stinky, sweaty helmet! I have tried on so many helmets in search for a great-fitting comfortable helmet -- various Charles Owens (looked too big on my head and felt too heavy), Samshield (looked like bowl on my head - weird fit), One K (too round for my head; and the oval / long version was too long), and some others. This was the winner. My head is between an oval and round shape and this fits great. It's a nice-looking, lightweight, well-priced, and safe helmet. And with TWO washable liners!

****UPDATED***I left original review just for the initial perspective, but the visor cracked after a few months. The price here is fantastic, and one thing I do LOVE is that IRH will replace your helmet at their cost within 2 years if you have an accident in any way. Having said that, their cost is about the same as buying here, so it's a wash. I bought my daughter a used Charles Owen & she shows in that. We kept the IRH for schooling. You get what you pay for, I guess. Still giving. 4 stars because I LOVE the customer service IRH offers. Very much a friendly company. Just know the durability is not there. Hope this helps!This fits great and has the matte finish style that is so popular now. Our trainer loved it and had no idea that we didn't spend $300 for it. Love the removable liner. Great for washing to keep it fresh smelling.

I tried on so many helmets at a local tack store and none fit as good as this one. It comes down around your head and really stays on. It doesn't give you a big bulky mushroom look like the Charles Owen ones do. It's light and keeps my head well ventilated. It looks as stylish as the much more expensive Samshields. I bought the velvety looking version with a shiny vent and am very happy with it. After a friend saw mine, she bought the matte version with a matte vent, and she loves hers too.

It is so rare that I write a review on something. I have been riding less than a year and I’m always worried about falls or something happening. Yesterday I took my first pretty good spill. Went right over the front of the horse and hit the back of my head on the floor of the arena. I felt like this helmet gave me peace of mind and protected my head well. It’s lightweight and looks beautiful. I’m glad I went with this. The only reason I’m taking off a star is because the velvety material is hard to keep clean
