Absolutely easy quick and great when you don't want to use your stovetop. Wonderful for the summer steaming and cooking. Clean up is a breeze healthier than the microwave

Beware of stainless steel plates!
I have had this now for a couple of months and performance wise, it is a very good steamer. However, the stainless steel plates must be washed by hand. The design of the plates leaves very sharp edges around the steamer holes and while washing them today I received a significant cut on my thumb. I have a photo of this but thought it might be inappropriate for posting here. If you own this appliance please be careful. If you are considering this appliance, my advice is to keep looking.
