These are perfect! Love that they came with lids!
I use ramekins to set up "serving size" foods for quick and easy snacks and quick meals. As I had broken a few, I decided it was time to replace with new ones. I always wished I had lids instead of plastic wrap - more secure, makes them portable, keeps things prepared in advance from drying out or absorbing "fridge flavors😵💫 - for work lunches, afterschool snacks. These come with perfect silicon lids, clear so you can see in without having to open them, and with a vent! So great for the microwave as well. The price was about right on sale, so, no brainer. They are a good warm white - not greyish white or brilliant white, but not cream either - white, very close to the white of my bone china, so these can even go with my fancy dishes, a bonus I wasn't expecting. They are well made, no defects on any in the ones I received, smooth edges, and well glazed. These hold 10 oz so, a 1 cup serving, with a little space for sloshing. Since they are oven safe, I can bake, cool, pop the lids on them, and they are ready to reheat in the microwave whenever. Also perfect for jello, small salads - potato, tuna, mac and cheese, tiny pot pies, or single serving pies, baby quiche, breakfast muffins.... I am having fun! we love these. Will be buying more when they go on sale again. Wish I could purchase extra lids, as lids are always getting lost, damaged etc. - also I have the light blue ones as they perfectly match my casual tableware set, and I wish I could get lids for them too! These do not "nest" as they have straight sides, but they have an offset rim, so that the bottom neatly fits within the top rim of the one below in a stack, so that they stack neatly and securely, no tipping and slipping! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that! The only "con" I have to warn you about is that these 10 oz ramekins measure 4.1" in diameter. I think this is because of that offset rim - which I really love - but it does means that you cannot set all 6 on a standard quarter sheet pan to bake, as they are just a smidgen too big to set 3 length-wise, so you can only fit 5. Also, 4" standard silicon replacement lids don't fit. I will be looking for a slightly oversized quarter sheet pan, as with the lids, the stacking rims, and the perfect colors, these are keepers 😁, and hope for extra lids? Please? Also, a deep ruby red colored set, to match Old Country Roses china would get me to buy a whole other set or four 😉. I will be buying an extra set of each color I have so that I won't run short when I inevitably break a few (tile floors). But these seem very sturdy, so...P.S. - I have discovered that a Hestan Quarter sheet pan is shaped with straighter sides - instead of the slightly sloped sides most standard pans have - so it will fit 6 of these ramekins for baking, so I am set!

Truly Elegant and thrilling to use.
In the suspenseful theater of my kitchen, where every utensil plays a role in the unfolding drama of culinary creation, the arrival of the DOWAN 8 oz Ramekins with Lids, a set of six porcelain protagonists, has introduced a new act of elegance and utility. As a director of tension and taste, I find these ramekins to be a compelling ensemble, deserving of a detailed critique. From the moment these ramekins emerged from their meticulously packed box—swaddled in foam like a precious McGuffin—I sensed their potential to steal the scene. Crafted from high-fired porcelain, fired at a formidable 1280°C, they exude durability and a glossy, non-toxic finish that promises safety and sophistication. Their smooth, rounded edges and pristine white glaze evoke the classic charm of a black-and-white film, blending seamlessly with my kitchen’s decor, much like a perfectly framed shot. Each ramekin, measuring 4 x 3.3 x 2.2 inches with an 8 oz capacity, is a versatile performer, adept at presenting individual portions of crème brûlée, soufflés, or even charcuterie dips. Their oven-safe nature, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 500°F, ensures they can endure the heat of a climactic baking scene without cracking under pressure. I tested their mettle with a suspenseful crème brûlée, and they delivered—baking evenly, retaining heat, and releasing the custard with the ease of a well-timed plot twist. The included lids, with their airtight seal and small vent for pressure release, are a stroke of genius, keeping leftovers fresh and allowing for seamless transitions from oven to fridge, much like a clever narrative cut.Functionality aside, these ramekins stack with the precision of a storyboarded sequence, their offset rims ensuring stability without tipping—a detail as satisfying as a perfectly resolved subplot. Cleaning them is a breeze; the glossy glaze resists stains, and they glide through the dishwasher like a character escaping danger unscathed. However, I must note a minor suspense: the lids, while practical, are not oven-safe, requiring careful choreography to avoid mishaps during reheating. In the spirit of my cinematic philosophy, where every detail builds tension, I appreciate DOWAN’s 30-year legacy of ceramic craftsmanship. These ramekins are not mere props but lead actors, enhancing the dining experience with their elegant design and robust performance. They’ve proven ideal for mise en place, holding spices with the precision of a director’s vision, and their aesthetic elevates even the simplest dip to a starring role.In conclusion, the DOWAN 8 oz Ramekins with Lids are a triumph of form and function, worthy of a five-star rating in my culinary thriller. They are the perfect vessels for any kitchen auteur seeking to craft suspenseful, delectable narratives. As I prepare for my next dinner party, these ramekins will undoubtedly take center stage, ready to deliver a performance that lingers long after the final bite.

Personal pot pie!
I used these for personal pot pies I served on NYE. They did the job and are holding up great. They also get used for food prep and leftovers. There are generic silicone lids available that do a good job of covering them up in the fridge.I consider the price to be good, especially for this larger size. I'd buy again.

PERFECT FOR INDIVIDUAL SOUFFLES AND SO MUCH MORE!
I have a bunch of Dowan serving platters and bowls in my kitchen, so when I needed 8 oz. ramekins to make individual souffles in, these were the perfect choice. These will also be ideal for serving side sauces and condiments when we have guests over for dinner, so now I can replace my hodge-podge of ramekins with a matched set of 12 (I ordered two sets of six) that will look awesome with our dinnerware.I like that they come with lids, for storage in the refrigerator or freezer, but I don't know that I would trust the lids to stay on if you pack them for lunch. I haven't tried/tested this yet, but maybe they will be okay if you follow the directions and close the tab on the lid after you put the lid on?The packaging was awesome, and all 12 of my ramekins were in perfect condition when I received them. The only reason I gave three stars for "easy to clean" is due to the lids not being that easy to clean.I'm very happy with the Dowan products that I have purchased over the last couple of years.

Perfect for what I wanted
These are perfect size for bringing breakfast to work! The actual ramekins are easy to clean and great design. The lids are a little harder to clean (turn orange in the dishwasher and have a lot of surfaces) but they seal well and it still works with my routine. Seems very high quality!
