I put two of them joined by a T to one 5 gallon bucket and I can go two days before filling back up with my 25 meat birds. No more cleaning their poop out of the waterer. I wrapped all of the threads in plumbers tape (the white stuff) and that prevented leaking and dripping from the nipples. I grabbed a few of my smarter birds and used their heads to poke the nipples. They figured it out and then all the rest of the birds figured it out. I also used a stick to push up the nipples so they could see it drip. My birds were about 4 weeks old when I trained them. When I move my tractor I just empty the bucket (leave enough so that air doesn't get in the line) then fill it back up with a hose when I'm done. Sooo easy. They weren't drinking for several days and we had to finally put a bucket of water in there. Not sure how to make them drink from this? ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars pretty good *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2013* have to get a pressure reduction valve to hook it to a hose instead of a bucket. not sure i trust it to be the only source of water for the birds yet. have ordered a pressure reducer - we shall see. the nipples do not always close off after they drink and it leaked all night soaking the coop, attracting bees. hoping the pressure reducer helps the nipples open and close better.
